Book Club

The CBPC Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship hall of the church, sometimes in participants' homes. The format is the same as most book clubs: the group gathers to discuss the book for the month, guided by the person who chose it. The current book is Wish you Well by David Baldaccii. We’ll be meeting on May 9th.

The next book is The last Child by John Hart. The book club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM.

Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women, or PW, is a group of Christian women who meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, friendship, and serving others. You don’t have to be a cradle Presbyterian, or even self-identify as Presbyterian to participate. Women of all ages are welcome to join one or more of the PW small groups which are called circles. There are four different PW circle small groups at CBPC. Click here for further information.

Presbyterian Men

Our men’s fellowship group meets for breakfast at 7am on the first Wednesday of the month to share friendship, hear a speaker from the church or community, and give back to the community. They serve together by sponsoring a family in need each Christmas, hosting the Community Soup Supper in January, and in other ways. Click here for further information.

Warming Ministry

The Warming Ministry meets October through April on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month 11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch, fellowship, and preparing prayer shawls, lap blankets, baby caps and other items to present to those people in our congregation or surrounding community who may need encouragement, healing, or warmth. For further info, see our Mission Ministries page.

Bible Study

We offer Bible Study series, usually meeting on Wednesdays either in the morning or evening. This is a great time to meet other people and be a part of a learning community gathered around deepening our faith together. Click here for more info.

Other ways to Connect

Another great way to be part of a group is to participate in the life of the church by singing in the choir or working with one of the small groups that lead some aspect of the church’s ministry. Working together and serving together builds us into a community of caring and faithfulness.
