We worship together on Sunday mornings at 10 AM. We will also offer a live stream of the Sunday service on YouTube. Contact the church office if you have questions or if you’d like to receive the link to view the live stream. Worship in the Sanctuary and the live stream both begin at 10am each Sunday.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

Times and Schedule

Our Sunday worship is at 10:00am. Please be sure to check this page or our online calendar if you’re in doubt about worship times.

What’s Worship Like at CBPC?

The worship service includes things like readings from the
Bible, a sermon and children’s sermon, songs, offering, and
silent prayer.

You’ll find members and visitors of a variety of ages and backgrounds. Some have been with us for more than 20 years. Others are recent transplants to Carolina Beach. Browse our Facebook Page if you’d like to see more.

Children are Welcome

Nursery care is available during Sunday service at 10 AM. Ask a greeter to direct you to the Nursery where two caregivers will be available to care for your child. Parents are also encouraged to have their children stay with them in the sanctuary for the full worship service or listen in on our live stream service on your computer or tablet from home.

Music

We strive to make our music as excellent and diverse as our talents and resources will allow. Our worship includes hymns, songs, Psalms, and sung responses. We use the PCUSA’s Glory to God hymnal and fold in older hymns as well as newer praise songs and contemporary music.

Music is ordinarily performed by our Director of Music, Bob Norem, on piano or organ. But don’t be surprised if you find the Topsail Strings band singing Blue Grass or gospel songs. We’ve also had members of the congregation play violin or guitar to accompany songs throughout the year.

The choir sings an anthem at the 10:00am service. At least twice a year, the choir will perform a cantata or other special musical offering with the help of other area musicians on string bass, percussion and drum set, bass guitar, violin, guitar, or brass instruments.
